Suzanne and Scott Morris Wedding Week July 2009

This week has been focused on having a great celebration for Suzanne and Scott's wedding. The events started with the arrival of Karen from Seattle and then Janae and Wyatt from Connecticut. On Wednesday, July 22, we were able to go to the Salt Lake Temple for Suzanne's endowment. It was a very special time for Sandra and me to be in the temple with all five of our daughters. After the session, we were able to go out to dinner at the Garden Restaurant and have a great meal.
On Thursday, Brandon arrived after driven most of the night from Seattle and Rick joined us from Connecticut. On July 24th, while Brigham, Rick, Brandon, and Clint played 18 holes of golf and Greg was working to keep Hill Field running, the rest of us went to Breakfast in Kaysville. it was a great meal. Kail enjoyed his breakfast with Suzanne.
Notice the size of the giant scones that were the most popular item for breakfast.
After breakfast, we were off to Davis Lanes for a game of bowling. We had the whole place to ourselves for the first hour. Alicia was delighted to be there.
Liz was also thrilled.
Kalvin was great bowler.
Kail had a good times as well.
Alicia was a great bowler and it should be noted that Jacob threw a strike with his first ball and that at one point Lisa had strikes in 3 of 4 frames.
After the bowling outing, we went to our house for some water games and hten had a special family home evening with Suzanne. Everyone was able to give her advice and a scrapbook pages. Karen and Brandon went first.
Janae had Rick had a lot of advice.
Wyatt was not able to control his excitement when giving his advice and fell off the couch.
The whole Halverson family had a lot of wisdom to share.
Christine, Greg, and Liz has prepared some great advice and a memory page.
Sandra had her message and gave Suzanne a special framed version of the Living Christ statement (here not yet unwrapped.)
It was great to be with Suzanne and give her a copy of the Family Proclamation.
After the home evening, we celebrated Suzanne's upcoming wedding and the 24th of July with fireworks.
It took a committee to put together the finale.
However, it was a great show!!!!

We had a great time watching the display.

SATURDAY, JULY 25, 2009 WAS THE BIG DAY!!!!!

Suzanne's wedding was not until 1:40 p.m. which was a great time to allow us to have a real wedding breakfast before the temple ceremony. Suzanne and Sandra looked lovely.
We had a lot of excitement waiting for the bride and groom to arrive. Here are Liz and Alicia.
As you can see we had a lot of people watching for Suzanne and Scott.
Finally the couple arrived.
The bride was beautiful.
There were lots of family member present.
There were proud parents of the bride.
Grandma Cannon was excited to be there.
There were five beautiful sisters.
And lot so nieces and nephews.
It was a beautiful (but hot) day at the temple.
We then went to the Carmelle reception center. Suzanne was beautiful.
The mother of the bride was elegant.
The reception center was a great place for a party.
Christine and Liz modeled the black and white dresses. Josh models the white shirt and red tie for all the young men.
It was a great day for eveyone.
We are so happy for Suzanne and Scott. We wish them the best in every way.
