We have had some great events recently. Isaac, Alicia and I will tell you of some of our great adventuresFamily Outing to Brighton
We were able to go up to Brighton from July 29 to August 2, 2008. We had everyone from the family with us for part of the time except for Suzanne who needed to work and Rick, Janae, and Wyatt who were in Connecticut.
The Halverson and Plaster families were able to join me on a hike to Twin Lakes.
Later in the week we were joined by the Brown family.
Brigham and Lisa have not been able to figure out the solution to the Tetris puzzle.
Alicia took time at Brighton to work on her strength training.
Jacob has been working on his acting skills.
Kail has been working to become a great outdoorman.
Liz enjoyed just having time to be at the cabin and relax with Kail and the rest of the family.
Josh and Kail enjoyed being out doors.
Kalvin was having a time just tyring to figure out what the meaning was for the full experience.
Isaac and I were able to paint a wooden airplane and his stomach.
Sandra was able to read stories.
Brandon and Karen Leave for SeattleWe were able to have a dinner for Brandon and Karen on Sunday, August 17, 2008 as they were getting ready to leave for Seattle this week. We will certainly miss them. They were able to come up the next Monday to get their things and then were off to Seattle with their U-haul and car.
As you can see, Brigham, Alicia, and Liz were all distressed with Karen and Brandon's departure.
Zac and Chelsea Barrus Wedding and Trip to Aberdeen.

Zac and Chelsea were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Friday, August 22, 2008. They are a beautiful couple. 
Zac was not too excited to get congratulations from his sister.
However, he was willing to take advice from his Brother Nic.
The reception was in Aberdeen that evening. Again, the beautiful bride and groom.
However, the parents of the groom were just as beautiful.
They had a great reception.

Sandra (and I) were able to buy a new car. She loves this car and has driven the car for 700 miles this week.

Grant you always do a great job on posting the blog. I know it takes you along time to do so many pictures, but they are fantastic.
I like the post. The pictures are great. Love the car. I enjoyed seeing the wedding pictures from the temple and Idaho it was a great event. Also, we are glad that we were able to make it to the cabin.
Thanks for letting me ride in your new car to Idaho. It was fun to spend time with family while helping Betsy & Russ with Zac's reception.
Wow, I am pretty late with the commenting. They all look like great events, we certainly wish we could have been with you at the cabin and we are excited to see mom's new car!
