BYU versus Air Force - Tail Gate and Game

We had a great weekend in Provo. Janae and Wyatt were a great inspiration as getting us organized to go to Provo and attend the homecoming game between BYU and the Air Force Academy.

Of course, we needed to get dressed in style for the event. We started our visit at the BYU bookstore. Suzanne was our guide and especially important we we got a 20% discount because of her employment there. As you look through the blog you will see the wonderful new BYU fashion that was selected. To start with below, you can see in the bookstore that Brigham was able to get a BYU had and football. He is a great quarterback and can through a lot better spiral than I can.
Janae was able to give Wyatt a tour of the campus. Notice Wyatt and Janae's complementary "Y" and "Cougars" T-shirts.
We had a great tailgate party. I think this event was the first of its type for our family. Everyone was able to wear their new BYU attire. Christine is modeling the fine "BYU" shirt and Greg his new hat.
Liz and Brigham had a great time at the tailgate party. Not Liz's beautiful hat with the BYU and BYU cougar. Be sure to look at the video to get the full feeling for the tailgate party.
Wyatt was able to enjoy his first BYU game with his "Y" T-shirt and had a great time. He was very good during the game. He was alert during the first half. When the outcome of the game was settle and it was clear that BYU would win, he went to sleep and even slept through the rain in the fourth quarter.
Liz was able to wear her new hat to the game and demonstrate the stylist attire of pink and blue.

Chris and Greg were able to model their new BYU apparel as well, although you cannot really appreciate Chris's new BYU T-shirt, while Greg's hat is not quite a stunning as Liz's.
Karen, Lisa, and Brigham had a good time at the game and learned all the needed hand signals and house with the "Darth Vader" march and the "first down" shout. Sandra and I had a great time as well. I was compliant and dressed in blue to avoid any controversy. We had a great time watching the game. Wyatt was able to learn to "growl" like a true cougar. One more serious events of the week, was while I was in Omaha, I thought I had broken my second toe on my right foot. This toe is affectionately call the "One who had Roast Beef." I will not bother you with the details of how this serious injury occurred, but I will leave these details to your imagination. I was able to hobble around on Friday at Omaha. It was quite tender, but when I woke up on Saturday, it was much improved and I think I just causes some bleeding around the base of the toe nail and I am doing much better. I hope you will all be able to have great sympathy for me in my suffering.
It has been a great week and we hope you are all doing well.

Below is a video of the tail gate party for those who missed this event! I hope you enjoy the strong background music. Please note that Wyatt needed to remove his BYU t-shirt for the game, but was properly dressed when in the stadium.
